The Streams of Water Ministry has again been chosen to receive a portion of the food from the NALC Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Last year we received over 12,000 lbs. of food. On May 14th (3-7 pm) we will need at least 60 volunteers to load, unload and sort the food. We will need 3-4 pickups to transport the food to the church. There are over 700 backpacks that need to be stuffed with supplies before the Back to School Roundup. We will start setting up at 4 pm and will need about 20 volunteers. At 7 pm we will start filling the backpacks. Need lots of volunteers to get it done quickly.
There will be a Watermelon Social after we've finished stuffing the backpacks. Hope to see you there!

FREE for the whole family!

Each year the Streams of Water Ministry & Alameda Church of Christ give away hundreds of back packs with school supplies to families in the Norman area. This year, 700* backpacks will be given away. Additionally, children receive handmade scarves, hats & gloves (while supplies last) and FREE haircuts (as time permits).

• Information Fair for the parents. Local non-profit organizations will be on hand.
• Lunch will be provided

• Popcorn, cotton candy
