We have a NEW Youth Minister!

Caleb Courtney will start working with our youth at the beginning of August. He and his family (Jennie, Reese and Aubrie) are in the process of moving up to Norman. Here is a little bit about them...
Caleb and Jennie met while working together at Camp Blue Haven in New Mexico. They married in 2006 and graduated from OC in 2008. Caleb graduated with a degree in Bible and Jennie graduated with a degree focusing on Early Childhood education. They have two beautiful kids, Reese who is 2 and a half and Aubrie who is 13 months. Caleb has spent the previous year serving as a youth minister in Early, TX. He loves golf, mountain biking, the outdoors, and playing with his kids. Jennie enjoys scrapbooking, music, playing sports and most of all, being a mom.
Jeremy Kenney's Resignation
Here is the letter Jeremy Kenney read during his resignation to the congregation:
"It is with a heavy heart that I come to you this morning to tell you that after much thought and prayer, I am resigning my position as youth minister here at Alameda effective May 29th. For many reasons, my heart cannot be 100% into youth ministry right now. I love this congregation, students and parents too much to only give half of what you deserve. I want you to understand I am NOT resigning because I am angry with anyone; this is purely a family decision that Amanda and I felt we must make. I want to thank all of you for the love and support you have shown my family and me during our time here. We have made so many wonderful friendships in the past year, and we hope those relationships will continue. Thank you, and may God continue to bless this congregation."
