Here are some tips on how you, your family, or your LIFE group can share Christ's love to your neighbors in a practical and meaningful way:
- Invite your neighbors over for a cookout or host a block party for the neighbors on your street
- Leave an Alameda "invite card" with your tip at a restaurant
- Hand out bottles of water at the park
- Take coffee and donuts (or fruit) in to the office for your coworkers
- Stock the teachers' lounge at your child's school with "snacks of appreciation"
- Ask a teacher if any students need school supplies or clothes
- Pay for the person behind you at the drive-thru
- Scrape a few windshields this winter
- Go grocery shopping for a shut-in
- Take cookies to your local fire or police station. If you want "turn it up a notch", ask a local firehouse if your LIFE group can cook breakfast for them one Saturday.
