One of the ways God has blessed Alameda this year is by sending us a great number of new members. These new members are so excited about being part of the Alameda family, and their enthusiasm is contagious! Nearly all of our new members are plugged into Life Groups, involved in ministries, and telling their friends about us.

I want to thank our new members for taking so much initiative in making Alameda your church home. I also want to thank our "veteran" members for taking it upon yourselves to meet our visitors and newer members and helping them learn about Alameda - keep it up!

Also, two of our elders - John Chaffee and Sam Johnson - meet with all of our visitors who want to place membership and answer any questions they have about Alameda, the church of Christ, the Bible, baptism, etc. These two men do a great job of helping our new members see the grace and commitment to God that exists in our congregation. It is so important for our members to know that they have access to our leaders.

Darin Sixkiller is also doing a wonderful job of helping new members get connected at Alameda. Through his personal contact with them, the creation of videos about Alameda, the creation of new member board, publishing a new member book, and establishing an integration system that is working well, Darin has put alot of work into helping our new members. Sometimes work like that goes unnoticed, so next time you see Darin tell him "thanks" for a job well done.
