How do I become a member at Alameda?

Meet with our Connections Minister.  Consider Darin your tour guide for your journey.  He'll begin by presenting you with a special packet.  It will touch on subjects such as our beliefs, ministry opportunities, and anything else you may want to know.  Darin will then make arrangements for you to continue to connect to the body at Alameda. 

What am I coming into?

Meet with a Shepherd.  Alameda has a great group of men that look after the spiritual needs of our family.  We feel it is important for you to meet with one of these men as you begin your relationship with this church.  Our elders are available to meet with those wishing to place membership every Sunday morning during Bible classes.  Time will be spent getting to know you and sharing with you what it means to be a member at Alameda.  They will walk you through the membership process.

How are you going to help me become a "committed follower of Christ?"

Discovery Classes.  We have a great variety of classes that provide opportunities for growth.  There are four classes that rotate on a yearly basis.  We feel these classes are important for all Christians to attend at least once.  They are: Discovering Christianity, Discovering Spiritual Maturity, Discovering Ministry, and Discovering My Mission.

How do I connect?

Connection Points. There are countless ways to get connected at Alameda.  Check out the "Connections" page for ongoing opportunities.

Life Groups.  You can see we have a lot to offer, but the thing we think you'll be most excited about are our Life Groups.  This is where you'll build authentic relationships with your brothers ans sisters in Christ.  Life Groups are like families, and with over 20 groups to choose from, you're sure to find one that fits you.  We can't wait to have you join us!
